Summary Of The Plot


The Double Helix is basically an autobiographical account of the discovery of the very structure of DNA. At the beginning of the book, it talks about those involved in the research and eventual discovery of DNA's structure. This goes on for about the first third of the entire novel. The rest of the book describes what they did, and the process of DNA's structure discovery in a first-person point of view.
